starry skies is a combination of hao (summer sky) and hanbin’s (shining, bright) names, as well as a reference to the time we spent together from boys planet until now. it is a festival to commemorate the past three years and to look forward to their futures as bright shining stars in the night sky

General Rules

- All authors must be 18 or older- No AI or plagiarism will be tolerated. Any works found to have either will be removed from the collection.- This is a fest to celebrate the past three years spent with BNB and all works must be focused on Hao and Hanbin- Authors may sign up using the Author Form and prompts can be submitted through the AO3 collection

Author Rules

- 1k word minimum for all fics- Ongoing fics are allowed as long as they meet the 1k word minimum- Sensitive content must be tagged and fics must use system content warnings/ratings appropriately. If there is a concern regarding untagged content or incorrectly rated works, moderators will contact the author and may withhold posting if rules have not been followed.- Side ships are allowed, but they must be secondary to BNB- No non-con, dub-con, sexualization of minors, beastiality is permitted. Prompts and works with these themes will be deleted by moderators- Only one claim per prompt. Claims will be accepted on a first come first serve basis- There is no limit to the number of prompts an author can claim, but each fic must be submitted before claiming a new prompt and moderators must be contacted for the claim to be confirmed- Works must remain anonymous until the reveal posts No WIPs or hints about your works until the appropriate time- Authors and works may stay anonymous after reveals, which can be indicated on the check-in and submission forms

Prompt Rules

- 10 prompts per person can be submitted- Self-prompting is allowed for authors- Allow authors creative liberty with the prompts. They should be a roadmap or general idea for a fic, but should remain vague for the author.- Mods reserve the right to delete prompts if they have not followed the rules, or are deemed inappropriate. Any prompt that encourages transphobia, homophobia, racism, etc. will be deleted.

FAQ

- Can I claim multiple prompts?
Of course! Authors can claim multiple prompts as long as the first (and subsequent) prompts have been fulfilled before claiming another one. Please dm/email us if you decide to claim a new prompt of if you change your prompt
- I am not interested in any of the submitted prompts. Can I self-prompt?
Yes! There will be a specific prompt titles "Self-Prompt" that will be unlimited to authors to claim
- Am I allowed to claim a prompt that is already taken?
Multiple claims are not allowed for one prompt. Prompts are first-come first-serve.
- I don't have an AO3 account. Can I still submit a prompt?
Yes! Contact us with your prompt by dming, sending an ask on alterspring, or sending us an email with your prompt!
- Am I able to drop a claim?
Authors are always able to drop out of the fest or drop out of claims. Please respond to the check-in form with your desire to drop out, or send us a dm/email!
- Can my fic stay anonymous?
Authors can remain anonymous after reveals, but please indicate this on the submission form!
- The submission deadline is approaching, but I am not finished with my work. Can I have an extension?
If you need an extension, please contact the mods to discuss the potential for extending before the posting period. Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis, but authors are always allowed to post chaptered/incomplete works.
- Can I post about my prompt/WIP?
Please refrain from posting publicly about your WIP to ensure that it remains anonymous until reveals.
